Eight years ago, I came from Ireland for interviews at Riverside. The welcome I received from the headteacher and the team was so warm, welcoming and kind that I immediately felt supported and at ease with the team.
I feel I have the opportunity to keep learning (which I love) and growing as an educator and a person.
Thankfully I was offered the job and my journey started in preschool where I worked for seven wonderful years with some amazing mentors, colleagues and friends. I progressed with experience and confidence, being promoted to SENCO, Deputy Room leader and finally, Lead Educator of the 2-3 year olds.
This nursery has made me the educator I am today and to have the opportunity to progress within Riverside and the Dukes Development programme I feel I have the opportunity to keep learning (which I love) and growing as an educator and a person. I am so happy that I picked Riverside to start my career as I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else now.
